The Foot Institute was founded by Dr. Ray as a sister company of Carolina Foot Institute in Orangeburg, South Carolina. His vision is to become the provider of choice for quality podiatric surgical and medical services and recognized for extraordinary patient care experiences for acute and chronically injured patients and their families.

Renee Hutto-Altman, D.P.M.

Dr. Hutto-AltmanDr. Renee Hutto-Altman joined The Foot Institute in December 2008. Her undergraduate degree is from the College of Charleston and her medical degree is from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Hutto-Altman completed residence in podiatric medicine at the Veterans' Administration Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. She has a special interest in wound care. She is a member of the South Carolina Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association.

Jordanna Baker, D.P.M.

Dr. Jordanna BakerDr. Jordanna Baker joined The Foot Institute in July 2013. Her undergraduate degree is from Coastal Carolina University and her medical degree is from Barry College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Dr. B completed a three year residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at the James Haley Veterans' Administration Medical Center in Tampa, Florida which is the largest VA hospital in the country. She has a special interest in foot trauma, arthritic conditions that affect the foot and gait and Nutrition. She is a member of the South Carolina Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association.

James Cawthorne, D.P.M.

Dr. CawthorneDr. James M. Cawthorne joined The Foot Institute in November 2012. His undergraduate degree is from Westminster College and his medical degree is from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Cawthorne completed his residency in foot surgery at McNamara Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He has a special interest in diabetic foot care and foot surgery. He is a member of the South Carolina Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association.

Misty N. Lee, D.P.M.

Dr. Misty N. LeeDr. Misty N. Lee joined The Foot Institute in August 2011. Her undergraduate degree is from Francis Marion University and her medical degree is from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Lee completed residency in foot and ankle surgery at University Hospital Health Systems/The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. She has a special interest in Pediatrics and Sports Medicine. She is a member of the South Carolina Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association.

Maureen Quinlan, D.P.M.

Dr. QuinlanDr. Maureen Quinlan joined The Foot Institute in October 2008. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Massachusetts and her medical degree is from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Quinlan completed residencies in podiatric medicine and foot and ankle surgery at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in New Jersey and Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. She has a special interest in Women's Foot Health. She is a member of the South Carolina Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association.

Kevin L. Ray, D.P.M.

Dr. RayDr. Kevin L. Ray is a founding member of The Foot Institute. His undergraduate degree is from South Carolina State University and his medical degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Ray completed a residency in podiatric medicine and orthopedics at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and in foot and ankle surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He has a special interest in reconstructive foot surgery. He is a member of the South Carolina Podiatric Medical Association and American Podiatric Medical Association.

Walter H. Singleton, D.P.M.

Dr. Walter h. SingletonDr. Walter H. Singleton joined The Foot Institute in March 2012. His undergraduate degrees from the Medical University of South Carolina and The Citadel. His medical degree is from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Singleton completed residency in podiatric medicine at Veterans' Administration Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. He has a special interest in Pharmacology . He is a member of the South Carolina Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association.
